After moving to Los Angeles over 2 decades ago with my husband, I felt a cultural shock leaving my home of New Delhi. But the unintended consequence was an introduction to a variety of cuisines. I mean…I was in the melting pot, the salad bowl, the cultural cuisine heaven of the world. I started mixing and matching right from the beginning. First, learning my traditional Indian cuisine, and eventually spicing things up with a fusion of different cuisines. That is what you will find in almost all of my dishes – a fusion of cuisines – many times mixing flavors and spices to make my special Channi's Masala Curries from some of the my favorite cultures.
